Microsoft Teams has been given a facelift and now comes integrated into the Windows 11 Taskbar, making it easier to access.įile Explorer was not left behind, with the Ribbon being replaced with a simplified toolbar. The new operating system introduces Android apps that will be installable from within the revamped Microsoft Store app via the Amazon Appstore. For those who have already upgraded and are not satisfied with Windows 11, we have just the information you need on how to roll back to Windows 10. We’ll show you how to upgrade your Windows 10 computer to Windows 11. The good news is that you don’t have to wait that long to get a peek at the new Windows version. With 2 days remaining before my 30 days are up, do I play safe & revert back to Windows 7 Pro on SSD.When Microsoft announced the introduction of Windows 11, users got excited, speculating as to what the new OS would bring to the table.

The Windows 7 Pro on HD I would still like to keep as a backup which was used to restore the Macrium image on the SSD when it disastrously failed.

The Windows 10 build 10240 will eventually be deleted & hasn't knowingly suffered from slow performance. By slow, I mean that there is a considerable time lag when typing text & it appearing on the screen, selecting a folder with the mouse, creating a sub-folder & naming it takes a long time - it simply feels like using an old 286 processor! Apart from a complete failure to boot after a couple of days requiring a restore from a Macrium image, it appears to work fine most of the time but there are instances when it is really slow, particularly when doing multiple downloads across the internet. The SSD build was initially an upgrade from Windows 7 Pro, then a clean install. I have my main OS, currently Windows 10, on SSD, Windows 10 build 10240 on HD & Windows 7 Pro on HD. When I upgraded, I wasn't aware that there was any time limit on when you could do this - Microsoft kept that quiet if that is the case. I've read conflicting accounts as to whether it's possible or not to revert back to the original OS after 30 days.
